She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Weathers and Vina Weathers; her husband Yates Hawkins; and her siblings, Lola Humphries, Lala Young, Roy and Edgar Weathers.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hawkins and Rita Harris (Kenny) of Shelby; her granddaughters, Andrea Williams (Matt), Laura McCraw (Jerry) and Stephanie Ashe (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Luke, Gavin, Ava, Olivia, Kaitlyn, Mallory, Morgan, Garrison and Preston; and her nieces and nephews, Wayne and Loiselle Hedgepath.
