He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Stacey and Doris Blanton Stacey. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Short Stacey; his siblings, Don Stacey (Susan) of Gastonia and Lisa Clary (David) of Shelby; and his siblings-in-law, Ralph and Judy Grindstaff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family strongly encourages the use of face masks and social distancing.
