He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell Elizabeth Jones Ivie and R. N. Ivie; his sisters, Betsy Tice and Linda Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Greene, Geraldine Kepley and Joel Greene.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ivie; his children, Rhonda Dixon (Mark) and Brian Ivie; his grandchildren, Kendall Wesson, Kaitlyn Wesson, Meah Ivie, Darin Dixon (Brooklyn), Dusty Dixon and Dawson Dixon; his great grandchildren, Lane and Levi Dixon; his brothers, Butch Ivie (Suzanne) and Les Ivie (Sheila); and his brothers-in-law, Gilbert Greene, Carl Greene (Wanda) and Darius Kepley.
