Roger Woody Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Woody of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ray and Eva Mae Woody; his daughter Anna Kathryn Woody; and his siblings, George Woody (Phyllis), Don Woody (Sue), Lea Ledford (Bradley) and Ann Holifield.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Little Woody; his daughters, Lori Woody (Rodney Pruett), Meredith Woody Large (Tom) and Erin Woody Merritt (Edward); his grandchildren, Blake Paterno, Sydney Paterno, Drew Paterno, Emerson Large, Anna Large, Luke Large, William Merritt and Cullen Merritt; and his brother Bradley Woody (Brenda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Roger's honor to Duke University, where he received exceptional care.
