Roger Hammond Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2022, at the age of 77, Roger Hammond of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Hammond and Ola Thomas Hammond; his wife Lucille Pruitt Hammond; and his siblings, Thomas Hammond and Peggy Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Turner (Richard) of Simpsonville, SC and Dana Hamrick (Michael) of Boiling Springs; his sister Betty Howie (J. G.) of Polkville; his grandchildren, Hayden Turner (Mallica), Molly Turner, Caroline Hamrick and Erin Hamrick; his pet Missy; and his siblings-in-law, C. L. Davis of Belwood and Gayla Hammond of Shelby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brian Center Health and Retirement, 515 S. Generals Blvd., Lincolnton, NC 28092.
