She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Edwin Taylor and Ruth Blanton Taylor; her brother Don; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Taylor and Harold Traylor.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Lutz Burton; her daughter Meredith Burton (Carson Muir) of Savannah; and her sister Barbara Taylor Traylor of Shelby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
