It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Dawson (Shelby, North Carolina), who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Dawson and Blanche Dawson; his wife Betty Lucille Dawson; and his siblings, Horace, Darrell Dawson and Elizabeth McKinney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Cash (Kenneth) of Shelby and Debbie Smith (Darrell) of Shelby; and his grandchildren, Chris Phillips, David Phillips, Austin Cash, Tyler Melton, Caleb Smith and Cody Smith. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
