He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Aaron Martin Sr.; and his sister Joan Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Martin; his mother Jo Ann Bradley Martin; his children, Tony Martin Jr. (Jessica) and Tiffaney Martin; and his siblings, Tammy Conley and Joseph Martin Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home (1401 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
