He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Poston and Ruby Warren Poston; his granddaughter Sadie Raines; his former wife Carol Poston; and his close friend Harold Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Amelia Daves Poston; his children, Leanne Hartman (Jason) of Shelby, Katie Ringley (Tanner) of Charlotte and Matthew Raines (Juleigh) of Waco; his sister Anita Kiser (Dean) of Surfside Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Caroline Hartman, Chase Hartman, Jackson, Sawyer and Cooper Raines; his sisters-in-law, Melanie Wallace (Jeff) and Angela Kendrick (Jason); his close friends, Gene and Becky Cook; and his extended family, Lara Hollifield (Brian), Chris Kiser, Jessica Yarboro, Jacob Wallace (Heather), Celeste Kendrick, Tyler Kendrick, Jase Kendrick, Andrew Yarboro, Lainey Yarboro and Lachlan Wallace.
