It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Addis of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Woodrow Addis and Lois Audrey McCarver Addis. He is survived by: his wife Jane Weathers Addis; his son Rick Addis (Beth); and his granddaughters, Virginia, Elizabeth and Macy.
