With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Recca W. Grigg of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lawson Wright and Nora Adeline Grigg Wright; her husband Robert William Grigg; her son David Lawson Grigg; and her siblings, Onley Wright, J. S. Wright, Stough Wright, W. G. Wright, Izene Lail, Verda Wright, Connie Yarbrough, Velma McSwain, Elsie Hoyle, Mary Etta Spain and Leah Fortenbury.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Grigg Cooke (Jerry) of Simpsonville, SC and Phyllis Grigg Shirley (Mack) of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Stephen "Robbie" Cooke, Shannon Alford (Jarrod) and Brandon Shirley; and her great grandchildren, Brenna Cooke and Emerson Cooke.
