It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Polly McDaniel (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brooks and Verdie Green Brooks; her husband Perry McDaniel; her siblings, Bud Brooks and Becky Wallace; her grandson Jerry McDaniel Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Kay McDaniel.
She is survived by: her children, David McDaniel, Frosty McDaniel (Faye), Jerry McDaniel (Lisa) of Mooresboro and Revonda Humphries (Kenneth) of Boiling Springs; and her sisters, Cat Jolley of Boiling Springs, Carolyn Hunt (Bob) of Boiling Springs and Lib Jones of Boiling Springs. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
