He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Proctor and Hattie Cline Proctor; and his sister Mary Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Emory Proctor; his daughter Phyliss Clary of Shelby, NC; his grandsons, Dylan Spivey of Virginia Beach, VA and Dustin Black of Grover, NC; and his pet Harlee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory (2518 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28150). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Zion Baptist Church (525 W Zion Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28150).
