It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Putnam (Shelby, North Carolina), who passed away on May 24, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Avery Kitchen and Gertrude Lowrance Crawford; her sister Jewel Smith; and her close friend Meggie (Peggy). She is survived by: her children, Donald Scott McCraw (Cindy) and Star Davis (Keith) of Shelby; her grandchildren, Brian Davis, Brandi Zimbelman (Steve) and Chris McCraw (Morgan); and her great grandchildren, Jason Davis, Madison Davis, Gunnar McCraw and Dalton McCraw.
