She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Hugh Allen and Annie Lee Biggerstaff Allen; her siblings, Thurman Allen, Ronnie Allen, Bunie Boheler, Jo Mauney, Bertie Hoppes and Ann Ledbetter; and her close friend Bud Earls.
She is survived by: her children, J. D. Lankford (Patti) of Shelby, NC and Terry Lankford (Patti) of Gaffney, SC; her grandchildren, Wyatt Lankford of Shelby, NC, Zach Bostic (Jana) of Mauldin, SC, Jacob Bostic of Gaffney, SC and Sarah Bostic of Gaffney, SC; and her siblings, Vangie Ledbetter of Shelby, NC, Lee Allen of Kings Mountain, NC, Charles Allen of Shelby, NC and Paul Allen of Lawndale, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
