She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Bearden and Louise Adele Drost Turnell; her son Robert Patrick Folk; and her brother Robert Martin Turnell. She is survived by: her husband Aubrey D. Folk of Shelby, NC; her children, Mark Folk (Sheri) of Shelby, Chris Folk (Tonda) of Boiling Springs, NC and Elizabeth A. Folk of Wake Forest, NC; her grandchildren, Matthew D. Blackmon (Allison) of Pittsboro, NC, Kali Folk Thomas (Ryan) of Las Vegas, NV, Alexander T. Blackmon (Natalie) of Southport, NC, Madison Folk Hartman (Christian) of Boiling Springs, NC, Logan A. Folk (Gary) of Boiling Springs, NC and Sydnee A. Folk (Hunter) of Shelby; and her brother William Drost Turnell (Kathy). She is also survived by two great-granddaughters, with two additional great-granddaughters.
