It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Edward Burkhardt of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Burkhardt and Sharon Matzas Burkhardt; and his sisters, Celeste Burkhardt of Shelby, NC and Alicia Burkhardt of Denver, CO. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
