She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Todd Fitch and Shane Bryant Jacky Bryant; her parents, Samuel Moore McNeely and Rachel Belle McNeely; her daughter Carolyn Passmore (Roger); her grandsons, Eddie "Todd" Fitch and Dennis "Shane" Bryant Tesmer; and her siblings, Lem McNeely, Pinkney McNeely, Amzie McNeely, Minnie Webb, Fannie Hamrick and Cordia Lee McNeely.
She is survived by: her husband Lee; her friend Kathy Ponder; her son-in-law Joe; her grandchildren, Karen (Theis), Chris Rathbone and Ashley McDaniel (Katy); her sister Ruth Estes of Alabama; her niece Dorothy Fitch; and her son-in-law Roger Passmore.
Memorials in her memory may be made to Elizabeth Baptist Church, and/or New Salem Church, both of Shelby, NC.
