We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2023, at the age of 87, Myrtle Carpenter of Shelby, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Crowder Hollifield and Josephine Wilson Hollifield; her husband Bobby James Carpenter; and her siblings, Pete, Lawrence Hollifield, Ruby Smith, Juanita Bailey, Louise Petty and Evelyn Glover.
She is survived by: her children, Michael James Carpenter and Julie Carpenter Ward (Brack); her grandchildren, Grayson and Bailey Ward; and her sister Barbara Jones.
