He is survived by: his sisters, Gloria Penson Ivester (Steve) of Lawndale, NC and Charlotte Penson Randolph (Terry Beaver) of Shelby; his niece Ashley Botts (Matthew) of Lawndale; and his great-niece Madison Botts. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
