He was predeceased by: his parents, L. B. Turner and Lenora Frady Turner; and his brother Brian Keith Turner. He is survived by: his pet Eddie; his wife Kay Borders Frady; his son Kenny Frady (Kim) of Grover; his stepsons, Patrick of Shelby and Dereck Walker of Shelby; his siblings, Wanda Buchanan (E. J.), Gail Keel of Greenville, SC, Jesse Turner of Blacksburg and Anthony Turner of Blacksburg; and his grandchildren, Isabella, Garrett and Easton Walker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
