It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Davis Ramsey (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Davis and Lois Davis; her husband Dan Ramsey; and her sons, Darrell Ramsey and Russell Ramsey.
She is survived by: her son Richard Ramsey of Kure Beach; her daughter-in-law Betty Jo Ramsey; her grandchildren, Brandy, Mickey, Misty, Ashley, Candace, Dustin, Natalie and Karlee; and her great grandchildren, Ben, Jayden, Adalyn, Mason, Alyssa, Gabriel, Daniel, Nora, David Jr. and Karter.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to the Gaston Hospice Fund.
