She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Benjamin Thomas and Viola Pitchford Davis; her husband J. D. Turner, Jr.; her son Jerry Dwayne Turner; and her sister Burnette Blanton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amelia Turner Loomis (Bryan) and Lynn Turner Maloney (John); her siblings, Dot Reynolds (Malcolm), Faye Honeycutt (Jason) and Tom Davis (Becky); her son-in-law John Hamrick; and her grandchildren, Dwayne Turner II (Amanda), Benjamin Cody Turner, Cameron Turner and Hannah Hamrick. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews along with many dear friends.
