With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Blanton (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yates Kendrick and Selena Kendrick (Lowery); her husband Robert Reid Crawford, Sr.; and her sisters, Louise Kendrick, Mayme Gantt and Ann Lane.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Crawford, Jr. (Sherry) of Shelby and Rebecca Crawford Hare (Christopher) of Charlotte; her sister Sophia Goforth of Shelby; her grandchildren, Lauren Davis (Brandon) of Shelby, Sara Nixon (Barry) of Shelby, Alexander Hare and Christian Hare of Charlotte; and her great grandchildren, Madison Davis, Braxton Strange and Ayden Davis. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
