She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tillman Greene and Vernie Lane Greene; her husband Victor Cherka; her daughter Teresa A. Noyes; her grandson Michael Muxie III; and her siblings, Charlie Greene, J. B. Greene, Bruce Greene, Ina G. Schafer and Virginia G. Forch.
She is survived by: her son Preston J. Cherka (Connie Cherka); her grandchildren, Nadine M. Dio, Steven Cherka, Liza C. Goodwin and Amy C. McPherson; her great grandchildren, Melinda Muxie, Faith Cherka, Caroline Cherka, Eli Goodwin, Madeline, Camden and William McPherson; and her sister Rose G. Schafer.
