It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Nadine Johnson of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Lee and Sally Philbeck Lee; her husbands, Joe Blackwell, Howard Shaw and Carl Johnson; and her siblings, Marvin Lee, Harold Lee, Shannon Lee, Boyd Lee, Lowell Lee, Frank Lee and Melba Callahan.
She is survived by: her caregiver Pat Weaver; her close friend Melinda Mastroni; her stepchildren, Kent Shaw (Debbie) of Troutman, NC, Van Shaw of Statesville, NC, William Johnson (Lisa) of Moncks Corner, SC and Julia Denton (Ed Denton) of Durham, NC; her stepgrandchildren, Cameron Denton, Christopher Denton (Kaitlin), Arleigh Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson; and her stepgreat-grandson Everett Denton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
