It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Cabaniss Hester of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Cabaniss and Mozelle Brackett Cabaniss; her husband Milton Hester; and her sister Jeanette Davis. She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie Hester (Roger Newton) of Concord and Cindy White (David) of Casar; and her granddaughter Megan Sherman.
