It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Wilson of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, A. P. "Leck" Spangler and Vera Warlick Spangler; her husband Billy Wilson; her brothers, Robert Spangler (Amy) and Boyd Spangler (Joyce); her siblings-in-law, Sue Rummage (Ward), Jane Taylor (Bill), Beth McKee (Bill) and Jimmy Wilson (Ruth); and her grandson-in-law Brandon McGee.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Wilson Catching, Karen Wilson Frye (Rick), Larry Wilson (Kathy), Alan Wilson (Cathy Smith) and Ann Wilson Payseur (David); her grandchildren, Chris Catching (J. D. Webb), Jessica Ganey Hensley (Gary), Chris Frye, Danielle Frye, Katie Wilson Borders (Spencer), Will Wilson, Mary Wilson Raudez (Alex), Lane Wilson, Kathryn Wilson Bell (Kyle), Beth Wilson, Courtney Payseur McGee, Katie Dare PayseurMcCurry (DJ), John Walthers and Karl Walthers; her great grandchildren, Lucas Hensley, Jayce Hensley, Katie Frye, Bly Borders, Walker Borders, Savannah Raudez, Ruby Raudez, Madelyn Bell, Coman Bell, Emma Claire McGee, Fitz McGee, Liam McCurry, Gray McCurry and Harrison McCurry; and her siblings, Ray Spangler (Vida), Amos Spangler (Margaret) and Faye Towery (Jerry).
