She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Mac and Evelyn Kirby Greene; her sister Diane Harris; her son David Wilson; and her nephews, Stephen Willams and Joe Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Don Lackey of Shelby; her son Jimmy Wilson (Melissa) of Shelby; her daughter-in-law Sharon Wilson of Shelby; her stepson Chuck Lackey (Pam) of Maiden, NC; her sister Gale Jackson of Waynesboro, TN.; and her grandchildren, Alex, Lee, Jenna Wilson, Gracie Sheffield (Wesley), Katie Wilson, Luke Lackey (Hunter), Jordan Lackey and Justin Enloe Kristen (Lauren).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the BIG Springs Baptist Church (534 Big Springs Church Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040).
