He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Lingerfelt Kendrick; his children, Cathy Earl, Victoria Edwards (James), Kim Strickland and Patrick Kendrick (Michelle); his grandchildren, Ashley Hooks (Blake), Natalie Edwards Bishop (Stephen), Kaitlin Edwards, Madison Strickland, Matthew Strickland and Dalton Kendrick (Katie); his great grandchildren, Carter Hooks, Thomas Lowery Bishop and Hudson Lowery Kendrick; and his brother Joe Kendrick (Nancy).
