She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Albert Roy Waters Sr. and Naomi Brown Waters; her husband Rev. Joe Ronald Edwards; her sons-in-law, Rae Pendleton and Wesley Jones; and her brothers, A. R. Waters, Jr., Bobby Waters and John Waters.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Pendleton of Lawndale, NC and Debra Jones of Lattimore, NC; her grandchildren, Christina Hamrick (Chad) of Lattimore, NC, Michael Pendleton (Beth) of Fallston, NC, Jason Pendleton (Lisa) of Shelby, NC and Stephanie Bristol (Sonny) of Lattimore, NC; and her great grandchildren, Noah Cline, Maura Pendleton, McKenzie Pendleton, Marissa Pendleton, Sophie Bristol and Sonny Bristol III. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
