She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leonard McSwain and Reba Moore McSwain; her former husband Robert Sweezy; and her husband J. H. Black. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Jimmy Black (Amy) of Shelby and Jeannie Loveday (Shannon) of Shelby; her brother Leonard McSwain (Brenda) of Shelby; and her grandsons, Hunter, Kenneth and Joseph Black.
