She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Blake Harrison and Lillian Peeler Harrison; her daughter Sherri Harding; her grandson Matthew Crook; and her brother Joseph B. Harrison Jr..
She is survived by: her husband James Tony West, Jr.; her children, James T. West, III (Susan M. Morrison) of Shelby, Myra Bradley (Scott) of Belwood and Amy McDougal of Fallston; her brother Randy Harrison (Jill) of Grover; her grandchildren, Kelli Burgin (Colby), Chad Bradley (Danielle), Michael Crook, Megan Smith (Austin) and Jacob Harding; and her great grandchildren, Jake Burgin, Max Burgin, Gavin Bradley, Maci Bradley, McKenly Smith, Brently Smith, Ryland Smith and Baby Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (606 S Dekalb St, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
