She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Monroe Jenkins and Joan Vassey Jenkins; her husband Roger Dale Carver; her daughter Anita Melton Lemmons; and her grandchild Ginalyn Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Melton (Lisa), Angela Greene (Joseph) and Melanie Hicks (Randy); her son-in-law Richard Lemmons of Shelby; her grandchildren, Robert Wilson, Carla Fortner, Dustin Lemmons (Wendy), William Melton (Karolina), Kayla Gibson (Ryan), Kasey Toney (Derek), Bradley Hicks, Krista Schultz (John) and Cassidy Sims (Tim); and her siblings, Merle Higgins of Forest City, James Jenkins (Sylvia) of Spartanburg and Harry Jenkins (Hazel) of Spartanburg. She is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren, and one Great-Great Grandchild.
