He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Cooper and Pearl Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Betty Cooper; his children, Wayne Cooper of Mooresboro, Danny Cooper (Angie) of Shelby and Angela Cooper of Mooresboro; his siblings, Jerry Cooper of Mooresboro, Gail Hollifield of Shelby, Barbara Fitch (Mike), Wayne (Vickie Davis), Roger Queen and Ronnie (Catherine Queen); and his pet Bandit. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
