He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hewitt Blanton Sr. and Elizabeth Cabaniss Blanton. He is survived by: his wife Judyth Pepper Blanton; his sons, Michael Blanton of Bourne, MA, Christopher Blanton of Conover, NC, Kenneth Blanton III of Lattimore, NC and Andrew Blanton (Brooke) of Dallas, GA; his sister Jane Blanton Moor of Smyrna, DE; his grandchildren, Alan Gossett, Kayla O'Boyle, Hannah Blanton, CJ Blanton, Kai Blanton, Drew Blanton and Carter Blanton; and his great grandchild Parklynn O'Boyle. He is also survived by niece and 2 nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lattimore Baptist Church, P.O. Box 188 Lattimore NC 28089.
