With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ken Blanton of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on July 20, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayford Lewis Blanton, Sr. and Edna Barnette Blanton; and his siblings, Danny Blanton and Kitty Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Terry Pearson Blanton; his children, Kenny Blanton of Shelby and Sharon Blanton of Shelby; his siblings, Rayford Blanton, Jr. of Shelby, Albert Blanton of Grover, Randy Blanton of Morganton, Tina Lindsay of Rutherfordton and Karen Blanton of Boiling Springs; and his grandchildren, Brandon Clark, Ashley Blanton, Hunter Blanton and Gunnar Blanton.
