She is survived by : her husband Rick McDaniel; her children, Isaac McDaniel (Melissa) of Shelby, NC and Holden McDaniel (Layla) of Goldsboro, NC; her brother John Kennedy (Christy) of Shelby, NC; her sister-in-law Donna Adams (John) of Easley, SC; her niece Emma Kennedy of Shelby, NC; her nephew Joshua Adams (Alexa) of Ft. Mill, SC.; and her father Jack Kennedy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zoar Baptist Church (1740 S Lafayette St, Shelby, NC 28152). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at the Cleveland Memorial Park (1225 College Ave, Shelby, NC 28152).
