With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kaye Upton of Shelby, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Allen and Vernie Allen; her husband Jim Upton; her mother-in-law Viola Johnson; and her sister-in-law Norma Frady (Mike).
She is survived by: her children, Angela McKee (Steve) and Kelly Upton (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Mariah Hardin (Logan), Marcus McKee (Kayla Pittman), Austin McKee (Taylor Canipe), Carter Vincent (Abby Nyberg) and Spencer Upton; her great grandchild Avery Hardin; her brother Roland Allen (Ellen); and her nieces and nephews, Emily Leeder (Glenn), Bryan Allen (Heather), Lance Frady (Caroline) and Leah Wray (Johnny).
