It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julian Wray of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Wray and Nancy Bunn Wray; his brother George Washington Wray, Jr.; his nephews, Christopher and Stuart Wray; and his brothers-in-law, Dave and Keith Creswell.
He is survived by: his close friend Church; his wife Anne Creswell Wray; his daughters, Julianne Wray McDowell (Dave), Jennifer Wray Tea (Travis) and Rebecca Marian Wray; his grandchildren, LeeAnne McDowell, Wyatt and Avery Tea; his sisters-in-law, Annette Wray, Pat Faggart and Melba Bridges; and also Sunny.
