It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Juanita Patterson of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woody Lankford and Ella Mae Lankford; her daughter Brenda Black; and her brothers, Bob Lankford, Dick Lankford, Joe Lankford, Buddy Lankford and Mike Lankford.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Patterson; her children, Gary (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach, Steve (Pam) of Ellenboro, Tim (Tina) of Belmont and June Hersek (Rocky) of Shelby; and her siblings, Jenelle Puckett (Ronald) of Weddington and Johnny Lankford (Joanne) of Shelby. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Royster Avenue Church of God (504 Royster Ave, Shelby, NC 28150).
