She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Almond and Zuda Brooks McSwain; her husband Unee Crawford Walker; her siblings, Arlin McSwain, Eda Humphries and Donnis Jenkins; and her granddaughter Kelli Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Causby (Tommy) of Shelby, Dana Walker (Tammy) of Shelby and Mark Walker (Debbie) of Shelby; and her grandchildren, Alan Causby of Shelby, Amy Phillips (Chris) of Shelby, Jonathan Walker (Mary) of Shelby, Justin Walker (Nicole) of Shelby and Matthew Walker of Shelby. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
