She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Mode and Vernell Padgett Mode; and her sister Barbara Mode. She is survived by: her husband Robert Hoyle; her son Robby Hoyle; her granddaughter Lacy Walton (Darrell); her great grandchildren, Alydia, Carter, Rowan, Isla, Zevi and Aairah; and her sister Wanda McManus (Paul).
Memorial donations may be made in Joy's memory to the Beaver Dam Baptist Church Nursery.
