It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Estes (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Billy Estes (Becky) and Phyllis Connor (Gary); his wife Rene Estes; his children, Autum, Ansley, Keilan, Makenna and Averie; his sister Donna Patterson (Will); his nieces and nephews, Trae, Reagan-Seth, Ella-Grace, Julian, Ryleigh and Tinsley; and his cousin Jeremy Gowan.

“Billy, shocked to learn of Josh's passing. He was a special young man. Full of love and fun. I was with him when he got his tattoo. Josh was so proud, but so worried You would be mad. He was so proud of his family.. He loved his children. He said I did that. I told him he had help. He's with God, walking on streets of gold. No more pain, sickness or worry. He will be missed.
