He is survived by: his wife Shirley Poston Broughton; his children, Burt Broughton (Nicole) and Barbie Sprouse; his sisters, Teressa Muse, Gale Monahan and Joan Harrill; and his grandchildren, Alyssa Broughton, Hunter Ledford, Weston Sprouse and Clay Whitworth.
