John Tesseneer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2021, at the age of 81, John Tesseneer of Shelby, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Tesseneer and Addie Horn Tesseneer; and his sisters, Maude Allison, Doris Champion and Irene Waters.

He is survived by: his wife Kim Cantrell Tesseneer; his children, Mike Tesseneer (Michal) of Polkville, Julie McMurry (Jimmy) of Polkville, Cindy Stroupe and Erin Treharne (Dan) of Shelby; his sister Laura Biggerstaff of Saluda; his grandchildren, Jason, Andy McMurry, Ashley King and Nikki Kay; his great grandchildren, Connor, Colton, Payton, Hunter and Lane; and his brother Bobby Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a dear lifelong friend.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, Zoar Baptist Church or to the donor's choice.
