He is survived by: his stepchildren, Patricia Morrow (Bobby Brewer) of Shelby and Steven Putnam; his siblings, Fay Blackmon (Robert), Sue Leftwich, Debra Lancaster (Curtis), Barbara Brown (Terry), Trudy Jones, Christine Heflin (Steve) and Ray Carpenter; his grandchildren, Michael Putnam, Elizabeth Truelove of Shelby, Bobby Truelove Jr. (Beth) of Cherryville, Phillip Truelove and Angela Davis of Shelby; his great grandchildren, Megan, Pamela, Dustin, Madison, Noah, Leighann Truelove, Ricky Byers Jr., Nate, Natalie Davis, Taylor Norman, Brooke McDaniel and Lindzey Pennignton; and his pet Taz.
