He is survived by: his wife Nanci Dover Ellis; his daughters, Patti Ellis McMurry (Andy) of Shelby and Katherine Ellis Brooks (Mark) of Boiling Springs, NC; his brother Don Ellis (Lois) of Grover; his grandchildren, Joy McMurry (Jamie), Paul Buford McMurry (Amber), Patrick McMurry (Mattie), Austin Boggs (Amy), Erica Boggs Riley (Bradley) and Sarah Beam (Wesley Jones); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, Jonah, Addie, Julia, Reese, Ellis, Piper, Emerson of Blakely, JJ, AJ, Charlotte, Grayson and Hudson; and his caregiver Faye Elder Guyton.
