He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bolton and Dorothy Phillips Bolton; and his sister Marion Northrup. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Herr Bolton; his sons, Steve Burgess (Kim) of Ridgeway, Craig Bolton (Brenda) of Shelby and Keith Bolton of Shelby; his grandchildren, Julia Bolton, Will Bolton (Sarah), Craig Bolton Jr. and Emily Nieto (John); and his great grandchildren, Baxter Bolton and Isabel Nieto.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be made in John's memory to the Buffalo Baptist Building Fund, 108 Buffalo Church Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
