She was predeceased by: her father Harley B. Gaston; her husband Michael Schenck Sr. of Shelby; her brother Judge Harley B. Gaston, Jr.; her sister-in-law Katherine B. Gaston; her sister Margaret Gaston Bates; and her brother-in-law Charles Allen Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Schenck Jr. (Carol), Ann Schenck Beam (David) and Catherine Schenck Miller (Mike).
